Why We Need Faith
1. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. Faith is the realization, confidence of things hoped for!
2. What is not of faith is sin. Romans 14:23
3. Faith is needed to please God. Hebrews 11:6
4. Faith heals. Mark 5:34, Acts 14:9, John 5:15
5. Faith strengthens prayers. James 1:56, Jude 20
6. Saved by faith. Ephesians 2:8
7. We receive the Holy Spirit by faith. Galatians 3:2
8. Faith overcomes the world. I John 5:4
9. Faith is needed for the Gospel to profit. Hebrews 4:2
10. Faith is needed to live. Habakkuk 2:4
11. Faith is what Jesus is looking for. Luke 18:58
12. We need faith because otherwise works is worthless (dead) religion. James 2:14-18, 22
13. We need faith because it gives us the power to be made righteous. Romans 5:1
